Secretaries and assistants are the first contact new business partners encounter and thus are an important factor in developing good business relations. This English seminar focuses on the core job areas of assistants and secretaries: Receiving visitors, socialising, telephoning and e-mail correspondence. As well as important vocabulary, specific phrases and the correct use of grammar, the improvement of socialising skills is emphasised. In English speaking countries small talk plays a vital role in creating and maintaining strong relationships – and so is a major step on the road to success.
