Business English Compact B1+

Course specifically designed for people who want to adapt their English knowledge acquired at school to the requirements of nowadays business world. Benefit from highly qualified teachers with long-lasting business and teaching experience as well as from an intensive learning atmosphere with a maximum of 3 participants.

Programme:

• Socializing: Making contact, introducing oneself, establishing relationships, creating a good work climate, the art of small talk
• Question Techniques: Asking politely, evoking interest, finding common topics, idioms and phrases, using "question tags".
• Telephoning in English: Taking and forwarding phone calls, inquiring, clarifying and avoiding misunderstanding, making appointments, dealing with dissatisfied customers, etc.
• Meetings: Making valuable contributions, reading between the lines, agreeing and disagreeing.
• Writing E-mails: Answering inquiries appropriately, writing offers and quotations, confirming negotiated results, communicating bad news, apologizing, designing individual automatic replies, etc.
• Grammar Review
• Additional Topics according to customers' demands

Duration and Format: 12 weeks of 3 teaching hours (3 x 45 minutes).

Number of Participants: 1 - 3 students

Time: Mondays or Thursdays from 17.30 to 19.45
