Since the COVID-19 lock-downs, many people have been working from home (where job requirements allow it). This saves daily commuting time and facilitates a better balance between work and personal life. Interestingly, however, the majority of people are now working more hours than before. The concept of work-life balance has long since transformed into work-life fusion. How can we handle this shift? How can we structure our lives to ensure that personal time doesn’t fall by the wayside? These and many other questions will be addressed in the seminar.
Seminar Goals
In addition to introducing both classic and modern time management techniques, the seminar will explore how to successfully adapt to frequently changing work environments— without experiencing feelings of losing control or frustration. A key focus will be on taking personal responsibility for maintaining a healthy work-life balance.
Furthermore, we will discuss and work through strategies for self-motivation, achieving goals, setting priorities, letting go of unnecessary burdens, gaining time, reducing stress, overcoming procrastination, and ultimately becoming more satisfied with oneself and one’s life.
Implementation: Flexible and Practical Approach
The seminar begins with an assessment and analysis of participants’ current work environments and work habits. Participants’ wishes and concerns will be addressed and incorporated throughout the seminar. Work processes will be analyzed and optimized, sources of disruption and time-wasting traps identified, and effective solutions developed.
