People who score high in Emotional Intelligence are aware of their strengths and weaknesses, have a high level of self-confidence, socialize easily, maintain good relationships, and are able to resolve and prevent conflicts. Consequently, Emotional Intelligence is a key factor to success and happiness. Fortunately, it is possible to enhance Emotional Intelligence throughout one's lifetime.


The workshop helps to analyze and re-evaluate behavioral patterns to initiate positive changes. It contributes significantly to the development of a positive attitude towards life and an improvement of social relationships. Furthermore, the increase of Emotional Intelligence is a potent tool for the prevention of burnout.

 

Contents (2 days):

  • Concept of Emotional Intelligence – Key factor to success and happiness
  • Self-Awareness – Monitoring emotions, exercising mindfulness
  • Self-Analysis – Transactional Analysis personality model, personal 'Egogramm'
  • Script Analysis – Where do we come from? What are our beliefs, values, norms? Injunctions? Drivers? Do we have life plans that unconsciously guide us?
  • Self-Management – Controlling and influencing feelings, strengthening self-confidence and self-motivation
  • Social Awareness and Empathy – Empathizing with others, decoding non-verbal signals, considering social context and frame of reference
  • Relationship Management – Communication model (TA), avoiding misunderstanding,  recognizing detrimental communication patterns, changing "ego states", addressing problems, recognizing psychological games, avoiding conflicts
  • Development Opportunities – Implementing findings by creating routines and new habits
